A Practice of Saying Yes

Kyla Morris has spent her life saying yes to big ideas and to the beautiful process of becoming someone who actually follows through on them.

Her creative work spans ink drawing, watercolor, crochet, mixed media, and more because making things is one of the most honest ways to grow. Each medium has taught her something different about patience, imperfection, and what it means to show up for yourself even when the outcome is uncertain.

After years in television, running an improv comedy house, and rebuilding her life as a domestic violence survivor, Kyla knows that creativity isn't just a hobby. It's a practice of saying yes to herself. Her art is layered, a little unpredictable, and made with the belief that the process matters more than the finished piece.

She is the co-creator of Flaky Hobbyist, a brand built for women with multiple half-started projects and one big dream they haven't said yes to yet. A project built alongside her mom, Joy, the person who taught her that making things is always worth doing.
